Valid changes save automatically in this browser. Export a backup to keep a copy or move your plan to another browser or device. Nothing is uploaded.

Backups contain readable financial information. Keep them private. Invalid edits are not saved or included in backups. Localhost and fire.buziwork.com have separate storage.

Reset your plan?

This removes your saved plan from this browser and replaces in-tab edits with example values. Downloaded backups, theme and introduction preferences are kept.

Optional CAPE supplement

CAPE-based withdrawals need a separate annual CAPE series. Import a local FIRE CAPE JSON file with January observations. It stays in this browser and is included in plan backups; nothing is uploaded.

Format: fire-cape-1, with id, version, sourceUrl and consecutive observations containing year and cape. Importing replaces only the current CAPE supplement. Supply only data you have permission to use.

Privacy & your data

Your valid retirement plan, including named income and extra-withdrawal schedules, appearance choice and introduction dismissal are stored in this browser. Financial inputs and calculations stay on this device; no account or server receives your plan. It has no accounts, analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are served with the app.

Your browser requests pages and assets from the site; its hosting provider may process ordinary connection information. Clearing site data or using private browsing may remove your saved plan and preferences. Someone with access to this browser profile may access the plan. Import reads a local file without uploading it; backups contain readable financial information. Reset removes only the saved plan and restores example values. Your theme, introduction preference and downloaded backups remain.
